Shipwreck

The pieces torn, the rubble broken, the bodies lifeless. Stuck, unable to move. When we tried to get out the ship would shake and more lives would be spared. Stuck between rocks, shored up in the storm that heavily billowed and I had warned the crew about this, but they ignored. Everywhere you looked you could see the sacrifices of our kind ready to be given to the god we awoke. Water escaped from my eyelids and fell onto the floor that gave  memories of death. Never could we leave, never could we live, never could we escape the curse.
